Our company’s long history is built on the personal connection our clients make with the singular and unique pieces we have designed and crafted for them. I often receive calls from Clients of my dad, and when I visit their homes, they lead me right to the piece that he made for them over 30 years ago. His brand is right there.

As in those days, each and every piece of furniture that we build today receives the same attention to detail as our large installations. We still use only traditional joinery on hand-selected woods, and we still use hand-applied finishes. This level of craftsmanship is given to every piece of furniture today, so they will last and be useful and beautiful for generations.

As I lead our company through its second generation, and we use our new branding iron, we still truly hope that our Clients’ children will one day pick up a piece of their parents’ furniture, and see the Black & Sons logo branded into the wood.
